1. Legacy Pod Printed Guide

Mac (Retina Display) device users

Guidance for Rooms: OTLT and N201

A Mac Retina display should be connected via a convertor and the VGA input.  Alternatively, please utilise the Pod PC.

HDCP protected content will not be recorded via Echo 360 as this is a legal requirement.

Guidance for Other Rooms with a HDMI Input:

HDMI on all devices will work fine until HDCP content is played, at which point it will not be shown on the projection screen.

If needing projection, please play HDCP content via the Pod PC.

2. Legacy Pod Example


AV Pods: Hardware

Each AV pod is made up of:

  • A touch-control panel which controls the transition between the components of the Pod (PC, Laptop, Visualiser)
  • A Windows PC networked to both your 'Homes' drive as well as the internet
  • A visualiser (a camera which sits over a flat surface on which you place an object whose  image/video can be projected on screen)     
  • VGA/network cables for laptop connection
